Children's Leader
Stacy Abernathy – Children’s Leader
Stacie Abernathy is joyfully fulfilling her calling by serving the children of Levelland Fist Assembly of God as Children’s Pastor. Her desire is to share the love of Jesus with the kids and see them come to Christ while helping them to build a firm foundation for their faith.
She grew up faithfully involved in church in Lubbock, Texas. She has always felt a strong calling to serve God in some capacity even at a young age, although she was unsure what that would look like in her future. She graduated from South Plains College with an Associate of Science Degree in 2001. In 2002 she married Eric, her high school sweetheart. It was in this same year, while attending Texas Tech, that God redirected her toward her calling. She moved to Lamesa and began volunteering at her local church and while there started a Children’s Church. She graduated from Covenant Treasure Institute in 2008.
Her family moved to Levelland in 2013 and began attending Levelland First Assembly. During her time at LFA she has been a volunteer in the Children’s ministry, served on the Board, and served as the Sunday School Director.
Stacie and Eric have four kids and they are invested in the spiritual growth of our children and families.
